تتميز مدينة اسوان بجمالها الساحر وطبيعتها الخلابة.واسوان فازات بلقب اجمل مدينة سياحية علي مستوى المدن السياحية العالمية.وتشتهر اسوان بالمعالم الاثرية القديمة وايضا الحديثة.ومن اشهرها.
معبد فيلة: أحد أشهر المعالم التاريخية، يقع على جزيرة أجيلكيا وسط النيل، ويشتهر بعروض الصوت والضوء ليلًا.
معبد أبو سمبل: تحفة معمارية نحتت في الصخر بناها الملك رمسيس الثاني، وتقع على بُعد نحو ثلاث ساعات بالسيارة من وسط المدينة.
ويتميز هذيين المعبدين بتضافر الحضارة القديمة وايضا اسطورة المصريين بنقل هذيين المعبدين من مكانهما بسبب فيضان نهر النيل مما يدل علي عظمة المصريين قديما وحديثا.
جزيرة الفنتين:
جزيرة تاريخية عريقة تضم آثاراً قديمة مثل معبد خنوم ومقياس النيل القديم، وبها قرى نوبية جميلة هادئة.
جزيرة أسوان النباتية (جزيرة كتشنر): واحة خضراء وسط النيل تضم مجموعة نادرة من الأشجار والنباتات الاستوائية والمتنوعة .
المتحف النوبي: صرح ثقافي بتصميم معماري مستوحى من البيئة النوبية، يعرض آلاف القطع الأثرية التي تحكي تاريخ النوبة وعادات أهلها.
السد العالي: أحد أبرز الإنجازات الهندسية الحديثة، ويوفر إطلالات بانورامية على نهر النيل وبحيرة ناصر.
المسلة الناقصة: أكبر مسلة لم يكتمل نحتها، وتكشف عن أساليب ودقة النحت عند المصريين القدماء في محاجر الجرانيت.
قرية غرب سهيل: القرية النوبية الشهيرة التي تتميز ببيوتها الملونة وأجوائها التراثية الدافئة،

Philae Temple: One of the most famous historical landmarks, situated on Agilkia Island in the middle of the Nile; it is celebrated for its nightly sound and light shows.
Abu Simbel Temples: An architectural masterpiece carved into rock by King Ramses II, located about a three-hour drive from the city center.
These temples are distinguished by the fusion of ancient civilization with the legendary Egyptian feat of relocating them to save them from the rising waters of the Nile—a testament to the greatness of Egyptians, both ancient and modern.
Elephantine Island:
A historic island featuring ancient ruins such as the Temple of Khnum and the ancient Nilometer, as well as beautiful, tranquil Nubian villages.
