هي واحدة من أكبر البحيرات الصناعية في العالم،
تقع في جنوب مصر جنوب مدينة أسوان، وشمال السودان.
واسم بحيرة ناصر يطلق على الجزء الأكبر الذي يقع داخل حدود مصر ويمثل 83% من المساحة الكلية للبحيرة أما الجزء المتبقي الواقع داخل حدود السودان فيطلق عليه اسم بحيرة النوبة.
تكونت نتيجة المياه المتجمعة خلف السد العالي بعد إنشائه (الذي استمر من عام 1958 إلى عام 1970)، وأطلق عليها بحيرة ناصر نسبة إلى الرئيس الراحل جمال عبد الناصر.
تلعب البحيرة دوراً حيوياً كمصدر للري وتوليد الكهرباء، كما أنها وجهة سياحية وبيئة غنية بالثروة السمكية والتماسيح.
سعة التخزين الميت 32 مليار متر مكعب ” و تنتج إمدادات المياه في بحيرة ناصر الكهرباء،
وهناك قلق من أن تناقص المياه يوثر سلبا علي انتاج الكهرباء.
واصبحت بحيره ناصر من الاماكن السياحيه حيث توجد بعض الفنادق العائمة التي تبحر في بحيره وناصر وتقوم بزياره بعض المعابد الاثريه القديمه منها معبد ابو سنبل ومعبد كلابشه.
وهي مازالت محتاجه الي زياده عدد الفنادق العائمة وزياده البرامج السياحيه والتخطيط السياحي.
وهي بحيره ذات اهميه كبيره من ناحيه تخزيين المياه للمحافظه علي المياه .
وترشيد الزراعه في مصر وتوفير مصدر دائم للمياه في مصر كلها.
ان مصر دوله غنيه بكل مقومات الحياه ووسائل الجذب السياحي والطبيعي والبيئي الذي يساعد علي زياده عدد السائحين وزياده معدلات التنميه الاجتماعية والاقتصاديه للدوله وللاشخاص ايضا.

Lake Nasser, or the High Dam Lake.

It is one of the largest artificial lakes in the world,
located in southern Egypt, south of Aswan, and north of Sudan.
The name Lake Nasser refers to the larger portion within Egypt’s borders, representing 83% of the lake’s total area. The remaining portion within Sudan’s borders is called Lake Nubia.
It was formed by the water collected behind the High Dam after its construction (which lasted from 1958 to 1970), and was named Lake Nasser after the late President Gamal Abdel Nasser.
The lake plays a vital role as a source of irrigation and hydroelectric power. It is also a tourist destination and a rich habitat for fish and crocodiles. The dead storage capacity of Lake Nasser is 32 billion cubic meters, and the water supply from the lake generates electricity.
There is concern that the decreasing water levels will negatively impact electricity production.
Lake Nasser has become a tourist destination, with several floating hotels that sail on its waters and visit ancient temples, including the Abu Simbel and Kalabsha temples.
The lake still needs more floating hotels, expanded tourist programs, and improved tourism planning. It is a lake of great importance for water storage, contributing to water conservation, rationalizing agricultural practices in Egypt, and providing a sustainable water source for the entire country.
Egypt is a country rich in all the elements of life and natural and environmental attractions that contribute to increasing the number of tourists and boosting social and economic development for the country and its people.
